The UK premiere of Rebel of the Keys , and the first screening of the 90 minute feature length version, took place on 11 July 2016 at JW3 in London to a sold-out auditorium and a second very successful screening at JW3 followed on 7 February 2017. There have also been screenings at Chapter in Cardiff on 21 Sep 2016 and at Pontio on 16 November 2016 as part of an event coordinated in partnership with The Welsh National Opera and Bafta Cymru. On April 3rd 2017 Rebel of the Keys was shown in New Zealand for the first time. It was at the The Rialto Cinema in Auckland at 6.15pm on April 3rd. On Thursday 7th September 2017 the film was screened as part of the official selection for the Open City Documentary Festival. It was then selected in competition for Documentary Feature at The Warsaw Jewish Film Festival and was screened on 29 November 2017 at POLIN Museum. Following that it was selected for the DOCfeed festival where it was screened on 25th February 2018. Rebel of the Keys had its North America premiere at the American Documentary Festival in Palm Springs, California in April 2018.
